I want to focus on the main antagonist of these levels, the ghosts. Chalice awarded the player with a new super ability. These levels where playable once per Isle and at the end Ms. Chalice was in a very parry filled level. In the original Cuphead the only time you saw Ms. Chalice was in the original Cuphead and is making her second appearance as a playable character in the new DLC. Thus, rapping up the storyline of Cuphead and Mugman for good. Though this is a darker theory, we could be trying to stop the Devils loyal Henchmen (the new bosses) from finishing a satanic ritual to bring back the Devil and his reign of terror. We basically beat him up and left him on his throne. However we don’t really know what happened to the Devil afterwards.
Cuphead: the delicious last course free#
As we know the original game ended with Cuphead and Mugman defeating the Devil (Unless you chose otherwise) and discarding the Soul Contacts setting the Devils debtors free from their servitude to the Devil. “Wrapping up the Story”: The quest could be focused on wrapping up the story we already have. Now I have come up with some theories on what this quest might be about. Now the story could go many ways due to the fact that there wasn’t much specification on what this quest was and why she was pursuing the quest. Chalice has a “Final Challenging Quest” and is working with Chef Saltbaker. While not much is confirmed we do know one thing. ”What will be the story be for “The Delicious Last Course ``?'' When adding that all up my estimate is about $8-$10. Also, we are getting a new character with new supers and weapons.
Now considering the fact we are only getting one Inkwell Isle and the original game had four Inkwell Isles a mathematician would say, “Well that’s $5.” Not necessary, since we don’t know the size of the new Inkwell Isle (I predict it will be larger than the originals) we can’t judge the price based on size. Well if you remember the base game could be purchased for $20 originally. ”How much will “The Delicious Last Course” cost?” While also having a level above the world (in the clouds persay) for more lighthearted and fun bosses. An example could be, they have an underground, “Underworld” level for more darker boss types. But what Studio MDHR could do is add various levels to fit bosses character types. Now currently all Inkwell Isles have one level. However another way Studio MDHR could go is, adding multiple levels to the isle. This is probably the most likely due to its simplicity. One way Studio MDHR could go is doubling the island size so that they can fit more and we can get more to play. However my speculation offers a couple theories to what the new Inkwell Isle could look like. To our disappointment we have found that there is nothing that shows what the new Inkwell Isle will look like. Now we (the Cuphead community) have only seen 2 trailers form Studio MHDR on the new Cuphead DLC. “What will the New Inkwell Isle be like?” Now these may just be books, however it may be possible that between March 3 and March 17 we will be getting our new Cuphead DLC. Yes books, Cuphead will be releasing “The Art of Cuphead” on March 17 and “Carnival Chaos” comic book, March 3. However they have confirmed two new Cuphead books coming in March. Now Studio MDHR hasn’t confirmed anything on the release date of the DLC. However, my hope is that this gets your creative juices flowing and this makes you even more excited for the “Delicious Last Course”.
Therefore you should take this with a grain of salt. Now, most if not all of this is going to be my speculation. Hiya guys I’m PARADIZEGamerz and I would like to offer my speculation on what is going to be coming with the new Cuphead DLC.
